JAY DENTON

FOUNDER OF ENDURE STUDIOS - ARTIST, SONGWRITER, PRODUCER

Driving with a high energy sound that brings together his Texas roots and the big city, singer/songwriter/producer Jay Denton combines genre-blending styles with storytelling lyrics and dynamic melodies.  Growing up in Dallas, TX, then making the jump to Los Angeles for a degree in international relations, and working all over the world, has given Denton a wide range of both musical and life influences, and he brings those to every song he writes - whether for himself or for the array of artists he has written and produced for.

After a couple years songwriting in Nashville, and touring with The Band Perry - training them in Krav Maga, he returned to LA to record and release his first full album debut, Locked, which gained exposure through placements on shows ranging from The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, and The Bachelor, to ESPN and the Olympics.  This gave Denton the opportunity to start his own studio, ENDURE Studios, in Los Angeles.

Combining his interest internationally along with his music, in 2019 Denton traveled back and forth to Lebanon, and wrote/recorded an album with Syrian refugees in Beirut.  Returning to the US he paired up the songs with US based artists in LA to create a global album blending languages, styles, and stories.  The full deluxe edition album, For Home, under the moniker, ENDURE, released on August 14th, 2020, and a documentary about the project, Endure: Lebanon, released on September 29th, 2020.

Denton continues to write and produce both for the ENDURE Studios' artists and himself, while is currently working on the next ENDURE series project: ENDURE Veterans.
